Times Union, September 24, 2014 REISSUANCE NOTICE TO PROPOSERS STEWART INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - NEW WINDSOR, NY ORANGE COUNTY, NEW YORK SOLICITATION FOR Inspection, Verification and Maintenance of Automated Weather System Sealed proposals to procure the services of properly trained personnel meeting FCC and FAA requirements to provide "Inspection, Verification and Maintenance of the Automated Weather Observation System" (AWOS) at Stewart International Airport, will be received by AFCO AvPORTS, LLC., Stewart International Airport, 1180 First Street, New Windsor, NY 12553 by 2:00 pm on Friday, October 10, 2014. For purposes of definition, AFCO AvPORTS, LLC is the contractual operator of Stewart International Airport for The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The SWF AWOS system is a FAA AWOS-III PTZ and is an All Weather Series 3000 System, with no spare components, boards or parts on site. The services required are supplying properly trained personnel meeting all FCC and FAA requirements required to perform inspection and verifications with adequate test equipment and resources to fulfill the manufacturers recommended scheduled maintenance and calibration procedures as defined in the manufacturers maintenance manual and FAA Advisory Circular 150/5220-16D or later version. A description of services included but not limited to are outlined in RFP documents. Contractors are encouraged to visit the site to become familiar with the work area and the logistics involved to formulate their own estimate and the work required to fulfill their obligations under this contract.
