Times Union, The Little Gallery at Sage College of Albany presents SELF-PERCEPTION, organized by the Professional Practices class and featuring the work of the seniors in the Fine Art and Photography BFA programs. The "selfie" may be the latest fad, but artists have been making self-portraits since before the Renaissance. Regarding oneself as subject and model, a self-portrait becomes a reflection of both outward appearance and inner spirit. Works will encompass a range of media and styles, all with the intent of regarding and representing oneself. WHEN: The show opens Friday, November 7 with a First Friday reception from 4-7 p.m. and runs through November 30. WHERE: Rathbone Hall on the Albany campus of The Sage Colleges, 140 New Scotland Avenue. Exhibitors include Rachael Bushey,T.J. Carlone, Kayla Coons, Stacey Hawkins, Ibrahim Kante, Lindsay Millet, Shequile Perry, Katherine Petit, Dakota Rider, Nathaniel Robinson, Kathryn Souza, Brian Williams, and Kate Wolford.
